Too many times we think, “I do all the work at this company and these people don’t appreciate me, they get all the credit.” But don’t worry about that. You’re not working unto people; you’re working unto God. He’s keeping the records.
The scripture says in Philippians 4:19, “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches…” We look at our situation and think, “I’ll never have enough.” But it’s not according to what you have, it’s according to what He has—and God owns it all.
God said in Exodus 3:8, “…to bring them out of lack into a good and spacious land.” Not a small land, not a little place. Receive this into your spirit: God can take you into a spacious land, a land of more than enough.
Your value doesn’t come from what you look like, what you do for a living, or how you stack up to someone else. Your value comes from the fact that Almighty God is the Painter of your life.
God says, “You’re well able, you have what it takes, you’re destined to do great things, you’re going to leave your mark on this generation.” He has already counted you; so don’t let other people discount you.
You’re not lacking. You may have made some mistakes, but you didn’t get disqualified. You have every thing you need to fulfill your destiny.
The scripture says, “Your gifts will make room for you.” If no new doors are opening, don’t get discouraged. Develop your gifts in a greater way. Improve your skills.
Paul said in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not get tired of doing what’s right, for in due season, we will reap if we do not give up.” We are coming into a “due season” year, a year where you’re going to see God show up in your life.
